Summer 2011 Fly Fishing Trips

First Adventure
Next summer First Adventure is offering some great fly-fishing trips in Colorado.  From new anglers to advance, First Adventure is waiting for you to come wet a line with us.  Come join us in Rocky Mountain National Park for a true fly-fishing adventure!

The "Cottage"

Don't worry we won't make you sleep on the ground for four nights.  Our facilities at Ravencrest Chalet offer "bunk" style sleeping and full bath accommodations.  The "Cottage" houses a max of eight people on each side of the building.  Both sides have full baths and the building has a commons area with a mini fridge, couch, and coffee maker.
All meals are served "family style."  We will be doing some BBQ lunches out in the park on our days of fishing.

Who is First Adventure and AJ Dudek

From an early age, A.J. Dudek had a passion for the outdoors and pursuing the things that God has created.  With a little help from his father Lee, A.J. began learning the art of angling, hunting, and wildlife conservation. A.J. Dudek grew up in N.E. Wisconsin.  Originally learning how to fish with worms and spinners, A.J. moved out to Colorado where he started learning the art of fly angling. Fly-fishing became a true passion and the next few years were spent teaching and guiding in Durango, CO and Estes Park, CO. Working in fly shops all over the country has allowed A.J. to become an accomplished guide, fly tier, and educator. His first love is trout, but A.J. enjoys fishing for river small mouth, carp, steelhead, and is hoping to get into some saltwater angling. A graduate of Moody Bible Institute, and a newly wed, A.J. and his wife Jen, and daughter Ainsley now reside in the Denver area. Being the founder/director of First Adventure, A.J. is hoping to see the business grow and expand nationally at some point
