I am already longing for the dog days of summer. On my way home from the river this afternoon I found myself day dreaming of boggle bugs and the top water bites. I love fall fishing, but what follows is anther thing. The winter sometimes seems to last forever and all we have are the memories of fish caught and hope of next season. I will retreat to the basement to the fly tying bench to dream of what might be and what take comfort that spring is only 4 months away. Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving. I know we have been blessed beyond what we are worthy of.
