This is the time of year I really start dreaming of open blue water and warm white sand beach's.But this is the price we pay to fish some of the great waters of the Great Lakes. With the temp rising today I went out in search of open water.I was debating if I was going to bring my rod along, but instead I brought my camera.One side of the dam open water and a chance to swing flies and on the other side I hear the roar of a ice auger making short work of the ice.Oh well I'll go back to my chair, a nap and dream of better days to come.
